Winter 2021 – Sweater Trends

Plaid Trench Coat, Winter, Style

It’s Sweater Weather!

Winter 2021’s outerwear trends are taking the boldest looks of the year and translating them to knitwear. While sweater shopping may have once been limited to decisions like plain wool or dull black puffer, the choices now are much more exciting. We break down our favorite cardigan, sweater, and coat trends.

Chunky Knits are back this season, as if we had any doubt! For a fun refresh, opt for cardigans with pops of color.

Colorblock – these sweaters, although aren’t new, have quickly become a staple. Whether you opt for the simple black white split or a more fun variation like a camel, white, and grey, you just can’t go wrong!
Can’t Stop the Cut-outs – we’re loving all the variations to sweaters this winter! From the more traditional double shoulder cut-outs to our new fave the collarbone cut-out, you are sure to stand out.

Quilt Doesn’t Quit – the iconic puffer jacket is refreshed this season with quilted patterns and a variety of colors! You get the warmth of the down-filled jacket with the added touch of style.
Camel Vibes – the camel and natural color has been dominating fall jackets and has also transitioned to winter in the form of beautiful long coats.
Yes, Plaid! – Plaid has always been a staple pattern for our beloved flannels. This winter, however, we are absolutely loving plaid coats as well. Dress it up for an evening out with elegant accessories, or pair it with combat boots for a casual outing.
