When a client approached us to transform their dated living room into a modern yet warm environment, we were up for the challenge. The space lacked cohesion and needed a refresh to align with the homeowner’s lifestyle and aesthetic.

The Challenge

A common issue we encounter: how to strike the perfect balance between polished modern design and a welcoming ambiance. For this project, the homeowner dreamed of a space that combined clean lines, neutral tones, and minimalist furniture, yet kept an inviting and cozy vibe that facilitated relaxation and conversation.

We started by reimagining the layout to maximize functionality and flow. A soft color palette of beige, brown and taupes anchored the space, while pops of blue added personality.

We extended cabinetry for extra storage along the length of the wall. A clean, white palette served as the backdrop, with gorgeous gold accents, herringbone tile, and sleek cabinetry bringing in a timeless look.
