Spring into Summer: Trends for 2023

Ladies, it’s that time of year again – the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the struggle to find the perfect summer outfit is real. But fear not, because this summer’s fashion trends are hotter than the pavement on a scorching day. From bold colors to statement accessories, this season’s fashion is all about making a statement. So, grab your sunglasses and sunscreen, and let’s dive into the world of women’s summer fashion.

Tennis Match

Athleisure wear has turned into a staple in all our closets over the years. But with temps pushing the 100’s in the summer, no one wants to wear black leggings or heavy sweatshirts. That’s why we’re obsessed with the tennis vibes coming out in the workout world. Think tennis skirts, bright colored sleeveless tops, and two-tone dresses! An added bonus? Most of the skirts are actually skorts and the tops have bras built in. So you’re not sweating your butt off, you’re comfortable, and you look super cute. Win-win-win!

Raffia Accents

If you haven’t heard of raffia, we’re here to educate! Raffia comes from the segments of the leaves on the Raphia Farinifera palm. The raffia fiber is soft, pliable, strong, durable, easy to dye and biodegradable making it an excellent material for weaving baskets, hats, mats and rugs.

It looks similar to straw accessories but unlike its look-a-like, raffia is much more flexible and sturdy. We’re loving all things raffia from hats to bags and even sandals!

Shades of Sunset

The warm hues of orange, pink, and purple are not only stunning in the sky, but also on clothing and accessories. Imagine a flowy maxi dress in a sunset-inspired ombre pattern, or a pair of earrings with sunset-colored gemstones. These shades are perfect for adding a touch of warmth and femininity to your outfit. Think peach, magenta, and coral.

Maxi Skirts

Now you’re probably thinking what’s so different about maxi skirts that make them trending for summer? The tried and true maxi skirt comes back in fun prints this season. Tropical patterns with flowers or palm trees are to die for!

We’ve reached the end of our journey through the fashion trends for this summer. We hope you’ve found some inspiration for your next outfit. As always, Rita has hand picked her faves and you can find them here.
